This Yamaha FG-160E is about as sweet as a vintage player gets! A deep, earthy tone with easy playability and great looks. The original built-in electronics sound surprisingly warm and transparent, not too metallic or clangy. All laminate construction, but it has aged well with only cosmetic wear and tear. Frets have good life in them, some adjustability left in the saddle, working truss rod/straight neck. A very nice bone nut replacement. Solid tuners. Plays with low, easy action. These older Taiwanese Yamaha’s tend to be a lot of bang for the buck, competing with a lot of higher-priced solid wood instruments. Kitty sticker is included in the price.
